We saw a number of innovations and developments in the 1980's that changed American and Pop Culture forever. The 1980's experience change that had not yet been experienced in American culture and the values of the nation are continuing to evolve.
As you have looked at Pop Culture in America over the last 50 years you should start to see some trends beginning to emerge. One of those trends is that we see similar clusters of change followed by a major shift every 20 years or so.
Your job will be to identify these major shifts over the last 50 years of American history (1940 - 1989) and present them using an info graphic. You may use any platform you wish to create this graphic - Google Slides, Adobe Spark, or another program you are comfortable with.
1980's Assessment
Experience Task: Review the Google Slide Presentation on Film, Television and Technology in the 1980's and complete the TWO (2) tasks - Watch the Bob Ross Episode and do your best to experience The Joy of Painting; Then, Using the technology of the kinetograph, create a “motion picture story”
